to see you one last time

When we face the inevitable, does it fade?

Taken last autumn. It's taken me a while to post this, because I couldn't think of what to say about it. I had a number of conflicting interpretations running through my head. I wasn't sure which one made the most sense.

And then... my grandmother passed away, which is why it seemed like the right time to post this. I just wasn't ready to talk about it at the time. My family is doing okay. I miss her and it's strange because I still have to keep reminding myself I can't call her.
